What this type is
Peers Rob Wealth is a configuration where the self is strong, Peer and Competitor Stars are many, the Wealth Star is weak, and there are no Output Stars to mediate. Peer Stars represent people like you: siblings, companions, partners, colleagues. When Wealth is weak and Peers are heavy, money flows among people, and gains and losses are tied to whom you choose to walk with. Classical texts call it “rob,” which sounds fierce, but it describes a structural fact: without someone guarding the door, money easily leaks through the gap of personal ties.
How to see it in a chart
Look at four places. Peer Stars in the month branch or appearing in multiple stems and branches indicate a strong self. Wealth Star is weak: not visible in stems, or hidden without root. Output Stars are thin: the path where Peers generate Output, and Output generates Wealth, is not established; Peers press directly on Wealth. Authority Stars are thin: there is no force to control the Peers. When all four are present, it is Peers Rob Wealth; if Output Stars are already strong, Peers become the source of Output—that is Output Produces Wealth, not robbery.
Women and men
Classical texts for men also read Wealth as wife and wealth, so “Peers Rob Wealth” was often written as harm to both marriage and money. For women, classical texts rarely said this, instead speaking of losses through sisters and companions. Today, regardless of gender: money lives in relationships, and the problem is not relationships themselves but the lack of boundaries. People of this type are often generous, loyal, and value honor—and precisely for that reason, they most need to separate personal feelings from accounts.
How it mends
Luck Cycles can mend it. In an Output decade, the energy of Peers finds a channel, turning into works and expression, which then generate wealth—this is the best remedy. In an Authority decade, Peers are controlled, and money is retained. In a Wealth decade, be cautious: Wealth arrives, but Peers are eager to rob it. Discipline can mend it. Three rules: when partnering, write an agreement first; friendship does not replace a deposit. Each month, automatically transfer half of your surplus to another account; only what remains in hand is available for personal favors. Before lending money to someone, write a line: when it will be repaid and how much; if you cannot write it, do not lend.
