What this type is
Output Produces Wealth is a configuration where Eating God and Hurting Officer are strong, generating a Wealth Star that has root. Output Stars are what you make: works, crafts, expressions, methods. Money comes from what you make; works and talent are the water source. People of this type monetize their output, and the smoothest path is not waiting for a position but making something, delivering it, and converting it into money. Classical texts list it among wealth patterns, with two prerequisites: Wealth must have root, and the Day Master must be able to carry it.
How to see it in a chart
Look at three places. Output Stars are strong: in the month branch, or in multiple stems and branches, able to act as an engine. Wealth Star has root: visible in stems with root in branches, or hidden in branches with qi; the money generated by Output has a place to land. Day Master can carry: not extremely weak. If Output Stars are strong but Wealth Star is absent, that is Output Releasing Elegance—doing much but not converting to money, not called generating wealth. If the Day Master is extremely weak and continues outputting, that is the Follow the Children path, another type.
Women and men
In classical texts, Output Stars for women were children stars, and Hurting Officer was sometimes said to “see Officer and bring a hundred disasters”—an era that saw women's expression as an affront to the husband star. Today, a woman with Output Produces Wealth is someone who stands on professional skill and expression; the more Hurting Officer is visible in stems, the more she has her own voice. For men, classical texts said, “Eating God generates Wealth, clothing and food are abundant”—a straightforward reading. Regardless of gender, money for this type comes from works.
How it mends
Luck Cycles can mend it. In a Wealth decade, what you make finds buyers—a harvest season. In an Authority decade, Peers are controlled, and the money from works is retained. In a Resource decade, be cautious: Resource controls Output, output slows, suitable for learning and consolidation rather than expansion. Discipline can mend it. Three rules: sign contracts even for work referred by friends; friendship does not replace a deposit. Price your works by market, not by personal ties. On the day each project payment arrives, transfer a fixed 10% to 30% into a long-term account, turning works into assets.
